Schoolchildren have been englihtened on protection of the Internet from dangers

Aztelekom LLC of the Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Techologies held the next seminar on the subject of protecting the Internet from danger for the children in Gabala.

Such educational seminars were arranged before in the schools of Shamakhi, Hajigabul, Sabirabad.

At this interactive seminar,  the schoolchildren were explained the ways of  protection against the harmful content on the Internet.

It was noted in the event that as a result of the service which plays "information filtering" role provided by Aztelekom LLC for its Internet users, web pages that negatively affect the psychology of people, especially children, are filtered by the users.

Thus, the access to the web sites reflecting crime, immorality and agression is detained and , the access to unwanted Internet pages is banned. This service limits the access to these pages when the children want to enter the web sites.

It was noted that not only the parents of the children, but also legal individuals are able to use this service in order to increase effectiveness of their working hours.

Regarding the rules of service usage it has been stated that the user creates «a white list» by compiling a list of the desirable Internet resources. At the same time, the user enters dangerous resources to the «Black list» which can restrict the usage of these web sites.

The user can deactive the filter at any time. 

We want to note that «Aztelekom» LLC intends to continue the organization of the events in this direction.
